Community Group Vision
Our Vision is to be a group that has alpha as a focus. We want people who want to serve and be part of an alpha team to join the group. If you want to be a part of this group then it would be great if you have people in mind that you want to bring on an alpha course.
The group will run in two weeks cycles, one week being an alpha night and the other a group meeting.

Loving God:

Our group loves God by obeying his command to make disciples of all nations.
Loving Each Other:
We will be having lots of socials, and envision that this group will be supportive of each other in everyday lives.
Loving The Lost:
Our heart is to reach out to the lost through running the alpha course,
our group is therefore naturally very outward looking.

Day: Monday
Venue: Steve and Suzanne’s - Harpenden

Community Group Vision
Our Vision is to be a group where you can learn how to host the presence of God. The purpose of our meetings together will be to seek the ‘rest’ of God.
There will be no pressure, so that people can feel free to just come and receive. We will meet every other week allowing the group to fellowship with others in weeks in between.
Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly.
Matthew 11; 28 -30 The Message

Loving God:
"Presence" and "Rest" are the keys. Making Him the focus rather than what needs to be done.
Out of His presence we will find out what to do and how to do it!

Loving Each Other:
We will love and support each other in the group through prayer.
Loving The Lost:
We have a real heart for the lost in Harpenden, and our group aims to be a place
where God shows us the needs of our community and how to reach out to them.

Loving God:

Community Group Vision
Our Vision is to be a community with the focus on family and doing life together. We want to see families come into this group and really connect with each other, we want our kids to be an integral part of what we do. We would love all members to have the opportunity to facilitate leadership within our group.

Loving God:
Our heart is to seek the face of God.
Loving Each Other:
Through focussing on family we will love and encourage one another,
coming alongside each other and doing life together.

Loving The Lost:
Through inviting family, friends, our neighbours and those on our streets to meals and events
we seek to be an example of genuine and exciting Christian life.

Community Group Vision
Our Vision is to be a group of people, who just loves to seek the
presence of God!!

A group who does "Life" together, by including our children, friends and
families on occasional weekends. (for example) we can all meet one
saturday morning for coffee or breakfast at a "child friendly" venue,
encouraging friendship with one another.

A group that will learn together, grow together and just "hang out"
together.

A group that will be challenged to "stepout" of their "comfort zones"
and into their giftings

Loving God:
We will get together to worship our Father, to seek His presence and
allow His Holy Spirit to reveal His heart to us.

Loving Each Other:
Out of relationship, friendship and just hanging out with each other, we
can support each other through prayer and encouragement.

Loving The Lost:
A group who wants to invite and include friends, family and even
neighbours to our "get togethers" - whether it be to just hang out on
the odd saturday morning for breakfast, or a group night, the point is
to include and build relationship with our friends and to live the 2nd
commandment, "Love your neighbour"

Day: Wednesday
Venue: Warren and Lyn's - Redbourn

Our group will be involved in social action and practically helping and serving others.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations.”
Matt 28:19

Loving God:

we will regularly meet to worship God, read the bible and pray together.
Loving Each Other:
We will regularly meet socially with one another and our friends in both small and large groups.
