Refresh is the vibrant and varied programme of events that we run for women both inside and outside our Church community. We recognise the high value that God places on women and the invaluable roles that they play in their everyday lives for example in the workplace, as wives, as mums and as leaders. Refresh was born out of a desire to provide an oasis in womens' lives where they could be spiritually, physically and emotionally refreshed and recharged for the works that they have been called to do.
The ages of the women in our Church community range from 18 to 92 and so we take that on board when planning our events to make sure that there is something for everyone. Some of our events are tailored solely for the women who are part of our Church, whereas others are designed specifically to make it easy to invite our friends and family along to. There is definitely something to suit everyone and the events are always fun and enjoyed by those attending.
So....if you are a woman who is 18+ take a look at the events we have planned for this year and come along. You will laugh, chat, learn, grow, share and maybe cry but our hope is that you will be refreshed....and have some fun.

Recent events:
Refresh your Christmas: We had a wonderful time together, sharing flower arranging, craft and cookery secrets to spice up our Christmas repertoire. Lots of laughter, food, flowers, dips in the hot rub and mulled wine. Thank you so much to Cathy Stewart-Smith who hosted the evening at their farmhouse.
Refresh your moves!: An evening to remember! We had a very groovy evening of dancing 80's style!
Refresh yourselves & others breakfast! - What a fantastic morning we had! There were lots of ladies there and we enjoyed a yummy cooked breakfast. Liz Low spoke on self-esteem and our true colours. She was simply amazing! It was so encouraging and uplifting. Thank you Liz!
Refresh others: Afternoon tea - We had a lovely Sunday afternoon together on the 13th March, drinking lots of tea and eating a lot of cake! Sally and Jill shared their stories with us and Julie gave us some information about Beautiful Gate in South Africa. Thank you so much ladies! There was also a bake sale, which including the ticket sales gave us £250 to donate to Beautiful Gate! Wonderful! A huge thank you to everyone who was involved!
Refresh yourself: A luxury day of teaching, pampering and relaxation, We had an amazing time together on Saturday 2nd of April at The Holiday Inn, Markyate. With a great time of worship and teaching led by Wendy Mann and then lots of relaxing, pampering and chatting afterwards!
We think you women are amazing, inspirational and beautiful and count it an utter priviledge to serve in providing opportunites for us to be refreshed by our loving God as well as by each other.
